Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Angular and reactive programming to architect and build complex, data-rich web applications. In this role, you will lead client-side architecture, design and implement micro-frontend (MFE) strategies for modular and independently deployable application shells and establish scalable state management systems. Experience with interactive mapping libraries such as Leaflet is a major plus as we build location-aware UI features.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular, high-performance web applications using modern Angular (standalone components, Signals). Leverage RxJS for asynchronous stream composition and http orchestration, while preferring Signals as the primary reactive state primitive.
- Lead the design and implementation of micro-frontend solutions using Module Federation or equivalent approaches, enabling independently deployable Angular micro-apps within a shared host shell. Define MFE contracts, routing strategies, and shared dependency management.
- Establish state management patterns and maintain scalable module and component hierarchie across MFE boundaries.
- Drive application performance strategies include change detection tuning (OnPush), lazy loading, bundle size reduction, and memory leak prevention.
- Integrate Leaflet (or similar mapping libraries) to render dynamic spatial datasets, custom map layers, and interactive UI overlays.
- Maintain engineering standards by enforcing linting rules (ESLint) and writing unit and integration tests (Jest).
- Conduct code reviews, set technical standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience.
- Expert knowledge of Angular and TypeScript. Solid command of Angular Signals as the primary reactivity model, with strong RxJS proficiency for async operations, HTTP handling, and complex event stream composition.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise state management patterns using Signals and NgRx; familiarity with RxJS–Signal interop utilities
- Practical experience designing and delivering micro-frontend architectures using Module Federation,Nx monorepos, or equivalent tooling.
- Strong experience setting up and writing automated tests using Jest and enforcing code consistencywith ESLint.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous UI patterns.
- Experience with responsive CSS architectures (SCSS, Tailwind CSS, or component design systems). Nice-to-Have Skills
- Practical experience with Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Mapbox GL JS for spatial data visualization.
- Familiarity with Cesium.js (CesiumJS) for 3D globe, terrain, and advanced geospatial rendering.
- Knowledge of GeoJSON, spatial coordinate systems, and mapping projections.
- Tech Stack: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, Module Federation, Nx, Jest, ESLint, Leaflet, SCSS, Cesium optional). Environment: Azure DevOps Boards, Wikis, Visio / Lucidchart / Miro, Microsoft Teams
