About the role
To enhance the security posture of the organization by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated security solutions that detect, respond to, and prevent security threats efficiently and effectively. Design, build, deploy, and operate Linux-based infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. Develop and deploy automation tools and scripts that streamline security operations and collaborate with security teams to identify automation opportunities and implement best practices. Solution Engineer is expected to propose & implement comprehensive solutions, considering both technical feasibility and business goals. Also, these solutions should integrate seamlessly with existing systems and deliver value to the organization.
Primary Skills
- Enterprise Linux & OS Management: Extensive hands-on experience deploying, hardening, and managing multiple enterprise Linux environments.
- Infrastructure Automation & Configuration Management: Proven ability to eliminate manual tasks and drive operational efficiency through robust automation, utilizing tools like Python, shell scripting
- CI/CD & Deployment Pipelines: Strong expertise in implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
Secondary Skills
- Containerization & Orchestration: Understanding of Docker and container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and Docker Compose will be an advantage
- Networking & Protocols: Comprehensive understanding of core networking and security technologies, including Firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, IDS/IPS, TLS/SSL, encryption protocols, and packet analysis using Wireshark.
- Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid-cloud infrastructure integration.
About you
OINIS Security team responsible to manage & protect backbone network infrastructure and global internet exit points of Orange Business. This includes firewalls, IPS, Proxies and other security solutions installed between different networks. CI/CD adoption to build and implement Firewall Policy Installation.
Define and maintain security requirements; animate security; define security policies to mitigate risks; promote security awareness, ensure periodic security audits and collaboration between Security and other department.
