The Role

Are you ready to help build a trusted vendor data ecosystem? As a Sr. Vendor Data Quality Analyst at Fidelity Investments, you will play a key role in implementing vendor data governance standards and driving data quality improvements across the vendor lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with business and technology partners to develop controls, monitor data health, identify root causes of data issues, and lead remediation initiatives. Your contributions will ensure vendor data is accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose, directly impacting our ability to deliver reliable insights and develop business value!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

We are looking for a collaborative and outcome-focused data professional. You should have familiarity with data quality, data governance, primary data management, procurement, or vendor management. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), Procurement, Vendor Management, Analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience implementing data quality programs, scorecards, important measurements, controls, and remediation processes.
  • Strong understanding of supplier lifecycle management, vendor onboarding, sourcing, contracting, and third-party risk management.
  • Experience working with ERP, procurement, and supplier management platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Workday, or similar technologies.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Management, Risk, Finance, Procurement, and Technology partners to resolve data issues and improve upstream processes.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, stewardship practices, and data management principles.
  • Proven track record communicating analytical findings clearly, concisely, and in an actionable manner, including senior collaborators and cross-functional partners.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A proactive demeanor in delivering results, along with a strong sense of ownership and the capability to lead work independently as well as in collaboration.

  

The Team

The team delivers insights through advanced analytics, visualization, and data storytelling in support of Vendor Management’s objectives, including cost savings, risk mitigation, process efficiency, and execution of key initiatives. The Sr. Vendor Data Quality Analyst will contribute to the execution of a new data governance program with a focus on improving data quality to strengthen the impact and reliability of insights produced by the team
