About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Specialist to join our Cloud Operations team. This role will be responsible for operating, automating, securing, and continuously improving our AWS cloud infrastructure supporting both traditional SaaS workloads and emerging AI-powered products.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, PostgreSQL/Aurora, Linux, security, and observability, along with an interest in supporting modern AI/LLM platforms, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) services.
The successful candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of production systems, troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues, and continuously improving reliability, security, automation, performance, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
- Support day-to-day AWS Cloud Operations and DevOps activities while continuously improving operational standards and best practices.
- Design, provision, maintain, and optimize highly available and scalable infrastructure within AWS.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning, deployment, configuration, upgrade, backup, and recovery workflows.
- Support containerized and microservices-based environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments, cluster configuration, scaling, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployment workflows.
- Own the operational lifecycle of infrastructure supporting the company's AI-powered products and services, including provisioning, deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and cost optimization.
- Deploy, administer, monitor, and secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers supporting multiple internal teams and AI use cases.
- Manage MCP integrations, authentication, granular access permissions, secrets, database connectivity, and external service integrations in accordance with security and data privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Docker in Linux environments.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience designing and supporting automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Practical understanding of AWS networking, security architecture, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Preferred Certifications
One or more relevant industry certifications would be an asset, including:
- AWS certifications
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or related Kubernetes certification
- Docker/container certifications
- Cloud security certifications

This remote position is open to candidates residing in the United States who are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
