Salesforce Developer

Contract Duration: 12 Months (EST TIME-ZONE)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions to support business requirements and drive continuous platform improvement.

This role requires a strong hands-on Salesforce development background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain custom functionality using Salesforce development technologies.
  • Build and enhance Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components, and other Salesforce solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce application and integration issues.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure development follows Salesforce best practices.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce technologies and recommend innovative solutions where appropriate.

Technical Requirements

  • 7+ years of Salesforce Development experience.
  • Exceptional hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
  • Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Lightning.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with source control and deployment processes is advantageous.
