Who we are
DB Global Technology, Deutsche Bank's technology center in Central and Eastern Europe, opened its Bucharest office in January 2014 and is continuously expanding. The team comprises enthusiastic professionals working in an international environment, dedicated to learning new technologies and fundamentally changing how Deutsche Bank operates.
We're looking for a talented and motivated NodeJS Developer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Implement, enhance, and productionize Node.js and oclif based application which acts as a Package Manager
- Assess code rewrite effort using other more appropriate language for a desktop CLI application
- Implement automation workflows that support developer workspace configuration and tooling deployment
- Build and integrate configuration services via a central dashboard which reports versions of installed applications/recipes across the package manager installation base
- Contribute to the creation of a package manager and governance model for developer‑specific tooling
- Support rollout activities including:
-UAT and PROD deployments -Documentation and knowledge transfer -End‑user communication and follow‑up
- Collaborate with the Desktop DevEx Engineer to ensure alignment between tooling automation and endpoint engineering processes
- Assist in scripting and packaging tasks across macOS and Windows as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science or similar
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in requirements engineering for large-scale IT solutions
- Strong Node.js and oclif / bun development experience or other language like Rust or Go or C-family to rewrite existing node.js and oclif based application
- Scripting: shell, PowerShell, Python
- Software packaging for macOS and Windows
- Familiarity with SDLC tooling, developer workflows, and automation frameworks
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems (Intune, ServiceNow, Artifactory, CI/CD pipelines)
