This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect Lead based in Canada.

The Solutions Architect Lead will own complex client onboarding and integration initiatives for fraud, risk, and compliance technology.This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical solution design, implementation management, and customer partnership.You will lead an integration team while working directly with clients to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.The role spans APIs, SDKs, documentation, implementation planning, technical troubleshooting, and project delivery.You will manage timelines, risks, quality, and deliverables while ensuring customers achieve successful deployments.The position also provides an opportunity to influence product development by bringing customer insights and technical feedback to internal teams.Success requires strong technical depth, exceptional communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving B2B SaaS environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing integration team focused on successful client onboarding and scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end client onboarding, providing technical guidance and support throughout implementation.
  • Analyze customer requirements from both technical and functional perspectives and design practical solutions aligned with platform capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain API specifications, SDK documentation, integration guides, technical resources, and support documentation.
  • Build a deep understanding of customers’ business challenges, technical environments, requirements, and success criteria.
  • Manage implementation projects from planning through deployment, ensuring quality, timelines, risk mitigation, and delivery milestones remain on track.
  • Coordinate with internal and external technical teams to resolve integration challenges and drive projects through completion.
  • Work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain complex concepts and establish clear implementation paths.
  • Use APIs, JSON payloads, SQL, scripting, and other technical tools to investigate issues and support integration requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, documentation, and technical tooling.
  • Serve as a key customer advocate by providing product feedback and identifying recurring technical or functional needs for internal stakeholders.
  • Help establish scalable integration practices that improve onboarding efficiency and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in implementation management, integrations engineering, technical account management, solution architecture, systems analysis, or a comparable technical customer-facing role.
  • Experience working across multiple internal and external technical teams and managing complex implementation initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, ideally within payments, fraud, risk, compliance, financial technology, or a closely related domain.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, web technologies, and technical solution design.
  • Experience working with API specifications such as OpenAPI and analyzing JSON payloads.
  • Working knowledge of SQL querying and the ability to investigate technical issues using data.
  • Experience writing scripts or building internal tools using technologies such as Bash, Python, SQL, Ruby, Golang, or Postman.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and business concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive deliverables to completion while managing dependencies, risks, and changing priorities.
  • Strong customer orientation and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to coach, develop, and motivate integration professionals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly autonomous environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to designing scalable, customer-focused solutions.
