Job Description

Please note: This posting is for a 4-or 8 month Student Winter 2027 placement with a start date of January 11, 2027 and end-date of April 30, 2027 or August 20, 2027.

In order to be eligible for this Winter co-op Student position, you must either:

Be returning back to school after the work term end-date in August 2027/December 2027; or

If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027/August 2027), but you require the work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully.

Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.

We’re seeking a Business Analyst to join our Personal Banking team and play a key role in transforming data into actionable strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, refine your analytical skills, and contribute to meaningful business decisions.

What will you do?

Depending on your placement, you may:

  • Identify, manage, analyze, and interpret data to support the creation of meaningful and actionable insights that drive business growth.
  • Interact and collaborate with team members in an agile work environment to build outstanding products, services, and campaigns.
  • Develop creative problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex business challenges.
  • Refine your communication and presentation skills by presenting findings and recommendations to business partners and senior management.
  • Continually work with internal partners to ensure cross-learning between teams and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for data and a desire to drive business growth through insights.

Nice-to-have (varies by placement):

  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism (English and /French) written and spoken.
