Guidewire Delivery Manager
Role Summary
Delivery Manager responsible for end‑to‑end Guidewire Program delivery for one or more customers. Experienced with Client engagement, GenAI‑led initiatives, People Management and financial governance. This role requires strong delivery ownership, hands on experience of working in Guidewire Engagements, applied GenAI knowledge, and tight financial control.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT delivery / program management
- Strong experience managing complex, multi LOB and multi stream Guidewire Engagements
- Should have worked hands on in at least couple of the following Guidewire Programs – AMS/Cloud Upgrade/Green Field Cloud Implementation/ Guidewire Migration/ Testing and Quality Programs
- Should have managed customers with multi disciple programs – either multiple LOB Implementations or multiple tracks
- Applied GenAI exposure (hands‑on, POC leadership, or implementation oversight)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid models
- Good exposure to Guidewire Pre Sales activities
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Governance
- Own end‑to‑end delivery across multiple programs or one large program with multiple tracks.
- Ensure adherence to scope, timelines, quality, SLAs, and governance standards
- Drive delivery reviews, risk management, and escalation handling
- Work closely with PMs and SMs to ensure delivery predictability.
- Strong Change Control and Scope management capabilities.
- Ensure consistent delivery on scope, quality, timelines, and cost
- Resolve cross‑project issues and escalations proactively
Client Management
- Act as primary delivery interface for the customer on the Guidewire side.
- Bring Thought Leadership and lead a consultative approach with customer stakeholders.
- Lead governance forums, client reviews, and on‑ground workshops
- Build trusted relationships with client leadership and stakeholders
Financial & Commercial Control
- Own delivery financials and P&L control
- Manage budgets, forecasts, billing milestones, and margin protection
- Proactively identify financial risks and cost leakages
- Work day to day basis with the Sales team to identify areas of growth.
People & Operations
- Lead cross‑functional onshore/offshore delivery teams
- Drive utilization, productivity, and delivery discipline
- Ensure compliance with organizational delivery and quality processes
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary interface with senior stakeholders and clients
- Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes transparently
- Facilitate alignment across business, technology, and vendors
- Manage stakeholder expectations and change impacts
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor Project Managers and work‑stream leads
- Coordinate internal teams and third‑party vendors/partners
- Enable high‑performing, collaborative delivery teams
- Support resource planning and capacity management
- Proven financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
GenAI Leadership
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of Generative AI (LLMs, automation, AI‑assisted delivery)
- Identify and drive GenAI use cases across delivery, testing, automation, and operations
- Partner with architects and engineering teams to translate GenAI into business value
