Tuum is a next-generation banking platform. We enable fintech and banks to rapidly offer seamless and tailored financial services to their customers. Our core banking platform is revolutionising the financial services industry. The platform is API-based, consisting of flexible and independent modules covering all retail and business banking capabilities for quick and easy integration.

Launched in 2019, Tuum is headquartered in Tallinn and is backed by investors including Citibank, BlackFin Capital Partners, Karma Ventures, Portage Ventures, SpeedInvest, and CommerzVentures.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the team responsible for the cloud infrastructure behind Tuum’s banking platform.

This role is best suited to someone with hands-on experience in Linux, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, software engineering, or a related field. You do not need to know our full technology stack, but you should bring a solid technical foundation and confidence working with real systems.

What you will work on

  • Operating and improving AWS environments, primarily EKS and RDS
  • Managing infrastructure using Terraform and other automation
  • Deploying and maintaining Kubernetes workloads using Helm and GitOps workflows
  • Improving monitoring, alerting and operational visibility with Prometheus and Grafana
  • Investigating problems across applications, Kubernetes, Linux, networking and AWS
  • Supporting development teams with infrastructure and deployment-related questions
  • Taking ownership of services and platform components as your familiarity with the environment grows

What we are looking forYou should have hands-on experience in systems administration, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a related area.

Experience with several of the following would be useful:

  • Linux administration and basic networking
  • AWS or another major public cloud
  • Kubernetes or containerised applications
  • Infrastructure as code
  • CI/CD or GitOps
  • Monitoring and observability
  • Python, Bash, or another programming or scripting language

We do not expect you to match every item. What matters more is your ability to investigate problems systematically, understand how systems fit together, communicate clearly, and learn unfamiliar technologies.
