Project Manager – Conversions & Store Projects

Job Requirements At Aubuchon Company, our store projects and conversions bring together people, products, vendors, and detailed planning to create a great experience for our customers and store teams. We’re looking for a Project Manager to help lead that work from planning through completion.

In this role, you’ll coordinate store conversion projects across multiple teams, keeping inventory, merchandising, vendors, resources, and timelines moving together. You’ll serve as a key connection point between our Conversion Team, Product Team, supplier partners, Project Coordinators, ROTs, Facilities, and Store Projects teams.

Role requires travel to all project sites and to main office in Westminster, MA

What You’ll Do

As our Project Manager, you’ll own and coordinate key elements of store conversion projects, helping ensure each project is executed on time, within budget, and according to plan.

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, deadlines, and individual due dates for store conversions.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential obstacles, and work with the appropriate teams to develop solutions that keep projects moving forward.
• Maintain Asana projects, track task completion, and clearly communicate whether projects are on time, ahead of schedule, in jeopardy, or delayed.
• Prepare weekly project summaries highlighting progress, upcoming milestones, risks, and timeline status.
• Work closely with the Director of Conversions & Store Projects to ensure project execution supports broader business objectives.
• Partner with the Project Planner to understand future projects and upcoming resource needs.

Inventory & Merchandising

• Coordinate inventory-related activities for store conversions, including Non-Move Forward Inventory and project-specific SMaSH items.
• Partner with the Product Team to support the development and execution of merchandising plans.
• Coordinate with vendor and supplier partners to ensure merchandising strategies are executed effectively throughout each conversion.
• Help ensure inventory, merchandising, and operational requirements are aligned with each project's timeline.

Team & Partner Coordination

• Communicate regularly with the Conversion Team and ROTs to review project requirements, timelines, priorities, and deadlines.
• Support Project Coordinators in translating project plans into effective labor scheduling and resource needs.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for supplier partners throughout the conversion process.
• Coordinate with vendors and other project partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and project goals are clearly understood.
• Provide planning and back-office support to the Facilities and Store Projects teams as needed.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve project-management processes, inventory controls, communication, and overall conversion execution.
• Help build repeatable processes that make future store projects more efficient and effective.

Work Experience What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of project-management experience; experience in retail operations, inventory management, merchandising, or store conversions is preferred.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and moving pieces at once.
• Experience using Asana or similar project-management software to manage tasks, timelines, dependencies, and project status.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when working with inventory and project timelines.
• Ability to lead through collaboration and coordinate effectively across internal teams, vendors, and supplier partners.
• A self-driven approach and the ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.
• Demonstrated ability to identify project risks, recommend solutions, and help teams make informed decisions.
• Strong customer-service mindset and a commitment to supporting our stores and teams.
• Ability to successfully complete a background and motor vehicle background check.

• Salary starts at $85-$95,000 and increases with experience and certification
