  • Sydney Based with Hybrid Working

Help shape the testing foundations behind one of Westpac's most important transformation programs!

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery across the Tools and Quality Engineering Platform stream within the Enterprise Testing Uplift project supporting our #UNITEprogram.

This is a high-impact role for a senior project delivery leader who can bring structure, momentum and strong governance to complex technology change.

You will work across test tools, QEP, test automation and AI test agent squads, partnering with divisional technology teams, delivery leads, 2LOD and BCM to embed fit-for-purpose solutions, operating models, processes and controls across the organisation.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can cut through complexity, build trust quickly and keep delivery moving without compromising governance, quality or stakeholder confidence.

What you will drive …

  • Lead the delivery and embedding of solutions and capabilities that meet business requirements and realise benefits within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Manage the creation of the QEP from the ground up and maintain delivery discipline across scope, schedule, risks, issues, milestones, and benefits.
  • Shape project plans, operating processes, and change management approaches to support Asset Lifecycle Management and DevOps uplift.
  • Engage divisional technology teams to embed capabilities aligned to enterprise operating models, standards, and controls.
  • Ensure governance and delivery alignment with Transformation Policy, TPS, TDS, IT Key Controls and the TDS RASCI.

What you will bring to the table …

  • Significant experience (minimum 10 years +) across projects or programs, including successful technology delivery in large enterprise initiatives.
  • Deep hands-on experience working in a large and complex organisation (minimum 5 years +), with strong financial services experience highly regarded.
  • Confidence working with technology infrastructure stacks, APIs, data models, abstraction layers, system interaction layers, and user interface design.
  • Strong scope management, scheduling, financial management, risk management, problem solving, and stakeholder engagement capability.
  • A self-driven, resilient, and accountable style, with a high care factor and a collaborative approach to delivery.
