Candidates must have at least 5 years of product management experience, including 2 years of taking technical products from conception to launch. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in security, privacy, or related technologies is required alongside a bachelor's degree.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior working experience on Identity, Access management, Security or privacy.
  • Enterprise products, infrastructure or systems experience.
  • Strong experience in creating and driving product goal, strategic product roadmaps, and product launch.
  • Understanding of the cloud ecosystem, markets, and competition in depth.

  • Be experienced for setting up and trying out cloud products, to better understand and arrive at opportunity areas.
  • Generate high-level insights from formative research, market gaps or technical insights to arrive at product requirements.
  • Understand complex technologies and customer use cases to arrive at insights for driving customer experience with Google cloud products.
  • Be the customer advocate, understand needs, and pain points in the hybrid cloud space to influence technical priorities and business strategy.
  • Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the right technology solution and a reasonable implementation schedule.
