ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a QA Engineer to create test strategies, document test cases, and execute cross-browser testing for eCommerce platform features including payment, gift card, product data, and search. You will work with the QA lead to improve manual and automated test processes, participate in UAT and issue resolution phases, and collaborate with clients on high-profile brand projects. Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus is required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test strategies and test plans.
- Work with the QA lead and project leads to enhance manual and automated test processes.
- Maintain test scripts and keep them up to date for each project and task.
- Document test cases and expected results for applications under test.
- Perform cross-browser testing and debug applications to identify defects.
- Participate in issue resolution, retesting, and UAT phases of projects.
- Work with and test eCommerce platform areas such as payment, gift card, product data, search, and related features.
- Attend status meetings as a QA team representative.
- Attend client meetings when needed.
MUST HAVES
- 2+ years of experience in QA roles.
- eCommerce experience, particularly with Shopify Plus.
- Motivated and self-directed with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively under pressure.
- Adaptable and willing to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, with an interest in becoming multi-skilled.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills for logging issues and coordinating testing-related activities.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks.
- Excitement about working on high-profile brands with complex requirements.
- Interest in a company that values training and skills development.
- Upper-intermediate English level.

- Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience.
- Ability to write tests using Gherkin (BDD) syntax.
