Role: Skin Cleansing & Deodorant Planning Manager cum Vietnam Banding Lead and IP Vietnam Digital Project Lead Job Purpose: Enable the Personal Care and Unilever Vietnam business to be successful, by delivering outstanding service, at optimum cost supply design, supporting growth and future fit culture for Planning Vietnam Organization. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE? Category Planning Lead – Skin Cleansing & Deodorant

  • Lead the end-to-end planning agenda for Skin Cleansing & Deodorant, ensuring business growth plans are translated into feasible demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and innovation plans.
  • Act as the primary Supply Chain business partner for the category, connecting commercial ambition with operational execution.
  • Own short-term and long-term demand and supply plans, ensuring full alignment across S&OE, S&OP, innovation, and long-term capacity planning horizons.
  • Drive planning governance for a complex portfolio of more than 300 SKUs, balancing growth, service, cost, inventory, and resilience.
  • Support local and export business growth by ensuring the right supply capability, stock readiness, production flexibility, and supplier readiness are in place.
  • Build long-term supply capability readiness plans, including factory capacity, raw and packaging material supplier capability, network readiness, and inventory strategy to support the 2030 growth ambition

Banding Planning Lead

  • Lead Vietnam promotional banding planning capability, ensuring effective planning, governance, capacity alignment, and execution discipline.
  • Build and improve processes, RACI, and operating routines for banding, co-packing, and promotional activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in promotional planning effectiveness, issue escalation, risk mitigation, and internal audit alignment

Planning Vietnam Digital Project Lead

  • Lead Vietnam Planning digital transformation initiatives to build a future-fit, data-driven, and automated planning organization.
  • Drive deployment and adoption of advanced forecasting capabilities, Machine Learning baseline forecasting, demand driver forecasting, digital planning tools, and planning process automation.
  • Partner with local IT, Data, Digital, and Planning Excellence teams to roll out change management for any new digital & process related to Planning Vietnam.
  • Ensure planning systems, tools, and processes support integrated S&OP, demand-supply reconciliation, performance tracking, and business decision-making

People & Team Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop planning team members to strengthen planning capability, business acumen, digital mindset, and stakeholder management.
  • Build a high-performance planning culture focused on ownership, collaboration, service, cost, resilience, and continuous improvement.
  • Equip the team and broader Planning community with future-fit capabilities in data analytics, digital planning, scenario planning, storytelling, and business partnering.
  • Role-model leadership behaviors through proactive problem solving, strategic thinking, resilience, and strong cross-functional influence

Experience and Qualifications:

  • >7 years proven experience in Planning / Supply Chain area, ideally in both demand & supply planning roles, in which at least 2 years in managerial role. FMCG experience preferred
  • Education in the field of economics, finance, supply chain management, business management preferred
  • Proven S&OP process experience in complex organizations. High level of process ownership
  • Leadership and influencing skills. Good understanding of business and willingness to propose and co-create solutions and recommendations. Proactive and hands-on approach
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills paired with strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • Ability to effectively switch between strategic thinking and short-term execution
  • Adaptivity, responsiveness and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic business and industry challenges
  • Native Vietnamese, Fluent English
