  • A culture of collaboration, openness, intellectual rigor, and ownership for excellence.
  • People at the forefront. We encourage CyberCubers to challenge themselves, push boundaries, and do the best work of their careers.

At CyberCube, we're building modern, scalable cloud infrastructure — and we're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the team and grow with us.

This role is opening up as a valued member of our team moves on to a new chapter after more than seven years with CyberCube. We're looking for someone to step into that legacy, learn from the team around them, and build their own long-term home with us.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers to support the performance, security, and reliability of our systems, with plenty of room to learn, ask questions, and develop your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Cloud Infrastructure. Help design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, working closely with senior engineers on architecture decisions.
  • Contribute to CI/CD Pipelines. Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, learning best practices for smooth, secure deployments.
  • Work with Containerized Environments. Support day-to-day operation of our Kubernetes (EKS) environments and build your understanding of container best practices.
  • Support Observability and Reliability. Help set up and tune monitoring and alerting tools like Datadog and Prometheus, and take part in incident response with guidance from the team.
  • Collaborate Across Teams. Work with engineering, security, and product colleagues, and start contributing your own ideas to infrastructure and process improvements as you grow into the role.

Qualifications

  • Some hands-on experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS), or strong self-directed learning in this area.
  • Basic exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Foundational knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, with genuine interest in orchestration and microservices.
  • Any exposure to observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to write basic scripts in Python or a similar language to automate simple tasks.
  • A curious, collaborative mindset, comfortable asking questions, open to feedback, and eager to build toward more ownership over time.

What we offer

  • Structured onboarding, pairing with senior SREs on real infrastructure work, and room to grow your ownership and scope as your experience deepens.
  • Play an instrumental role in reshaping one of the oldest industries in the world
  • Learning and development assistance
  • Vision and dental coverage
  • Extra vacation days during winter holidays
  • Flexible working hours and work-from-home option
  • Company-supported mentorship and secondment programs
  • Work abroad for up to 3 months with approval
