Master Works is seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain enterprise database systems.
  • Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Implement database security, access controls, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
  • Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patching.
  • Optimize queries, configurations, and database performance.
  • Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience with backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Knowledge of database security and performance tuning.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
