Position Purpose: Oversee a team of construction project managers and direct the day to day activities in the field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of project managers and direct the day to day activities.
  • Ensure company procedures and standards are met.
  • Monitor project manager’s progress of jobs during inspection and construction to assure expectations are met concerning Quality, Timelines and Profitability.
  • Ensure project budgets and CO’s are being managed well.
  • Ensure direct reports are visiting properties as required and provide proper updates.
  • Conduct field job walks to ensure quality and schedules are being met.
  • Mentor and assist in the professional development of the project management team.
  • Work with team to resolve problems encountered during pre-construction and construction.
  • Identify and address subcontractor issues/needs the project manager encounters.
  • Identify internal system needs and makes recommendations.
  • Create weekly and monthly reports and share with management.
  • Determine staffing needs and supervise the hiring.
  • Assign new jobs to project managers based on workload and location.
  • Set monthly performance goals and schedule training for team’s development.
  • Lead monthly Project Manager meetings to review goals issues, changes and direction.
  • Ensure project managers are properly trained on systems and procedures.
  • Schedule up training and continual training with the Training Manager for project managers as needed.
  • Work with different departments to track and identify subcontractor issues/needs the project managers encounter.
  • Monitor the recruiting manager to assure they are fulfilling the labor demands and are effectively assigning new labor subcontractors to project managers based on the region and needs.
  • Assure Quality Control Managers are inspecting homes in a timely manner and are identifying life safety issues as well as quality concerns.
  • Assist with the setup of new regions.

Job Requirements:

  • College Degree. Strong Construction experience with 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Must have strong excel knowledge.
  • Will work in the field
  • Active General Contractor License is a strong plus.
