Job Description
The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and deliver projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role will involve managing project teams, contractors, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead project execution and ensure activities are delivered in line with approved scope, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and resource utilisation, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, changes, and potential delays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, applicable regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage contractors and vendors to ensure performance meets contractual and project requirements.
- Prepare and present regular project status, cost, progress, and performance reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Review and manage project variations, claims, and changes to scope in accordance with approved procedures.
- Conduct project meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues and action points.
- Coordinate project commissioning, handover, documentation, and close-out activities.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure lessons learned are documented for future projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, engineering, construction, or infrastructure sector.
- Proven experience managing projects from planning through completion.
- Experience managing contractors, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and project schedules.
- Good understanding of project management, risk management, cost control, HSE, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian oil & gas/energy industry is an advantage.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
