Advian is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to develop machine learning solutions for industrial and manufacturing environments. In this hands-on role, you'll work with industrial IoT and process data to detect anomalies, uncover root causes and solve real-world machine learning challenges.

From understanding complex production processes to deploying models into use, you'll help turn industrial data into practical improvements.

THE ROLE

In this role, you develop machine learning solutions used in real operations. Your primary focus is on industrial IoT and process data, including time series analysis, anomaly detection and root-cause investigations.

Your work typically includes:

- Solving real-world industrial and manufacturing problems using machine learning

- Analysing IoT and process data to detect anomalies, identify patterns and understand root causes

- Developing and deploying machine learning models for production use

- Making technical and design decisions throughout the project lifecycle, balancing performance, reliability and real-world constraints

- Working closely with customers and technical experts to turn industrial data into practical solutions

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who has:

- 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning solutions

- Strong understanding of time series analysis, anomaly detection and other real-world industrial data problems

- Ability to design practical solutions and make independent technical decisions

- Interest in solving industrial and manufacturing challenges using data and machine learning

- Professional communication skills in Finnish and English

It is considered a plus if you have:

- Practical experience in industrial or manufacturing environments

- Background in signal processing

- Background in mathematics or physics
