Role Summary
Content and Feeds Technology within LSEG manages and maintains the technical estate and infrastructure which underpins LSEG’s position as a leading market data provider. As a Technical Product Manager you will work with a distributed team of technology experts to define, implement, and develop the array of applications and databases which are used by thousands of internal and external customers.
The Technical Product Manager has an authoritative tacit understanding of the technical design of their product and the way in which it meets the needs of our business. They will lead the management of backlogs for their squads as part of a Technical Product Team which owns technical solutions, aligning with development and business teams to optimize the development of the product while producing high-quality outcomes in delivery and strategy.
The Technical Product Manager will own the end-to-end creation of technical roadmaps and support our technology teams in delivering new and varied applications to deliver on LSEG’s key OKRs
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning relationships with Business Stakeholders and Sponsors to understand and respond to existing and emerging customer requirements and changing priorities.
- Partnering with Architecture, Engineering and Delivery Management within and across Programmes.
- Leading stakeholder negotiations to align priorities, manage expectations, and ensure delivery of high-impact features.
- Acting as the main point of contact for product-related inquiries and decisions throughout the development lifecycle.
- Leverage strong technical expertise to guide development strategies and resolve challenges.
- Overseeing interaction between the development group and internal customers for the ongoing development of the Product.
- Defining the strategic technical roadmap for the implementation of new product iterations and assuring the quality of its underlying product backlogs.
- Supervising risks and dependencies across Products and Release Trains.
- Championing Agile Principles throughout the Product Development Life-Cycle and supporting the ongoing development of team processes and practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree educated or equivalent.
- Product Management/Business Analysis background with appropriate certifications.
- Experience in leading delivery of products in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Jira or similar products.
- Experience in developing and motivating teams
- Understanding of Data & Information Architecture.
- Understanding of the principles of AI and LLM and their use.
- Ability to energise others and to drive towards a common goal.
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry, with experience in market data.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies.
- Proficient with business analysis tools and Microsoft office products.
- Ability and willingness to build knowledge of new business domains.
- Superb communication skills – verbal and written.
- Experience working with global teams.
