This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista de Testes / QA based in Brazil.

This role is responsible for ensuring software quality through structured testing, validation, and defect identification across digital products. You will analyze business and functional requirements and design testing approaches that verify whether applications perform as expected. The position combines manual testing with test automation, helping improve coverage, reliability, and testing efficiency. You will collaborate closely with development, business analysis, and other stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle. The role also provides an opportunity to identify gaps in quality processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Accountabilities:

  • Analyze user stories and understand the underlying business rules and expected product behavior.
  • Review functional and non-functional requirements to identify test considerations and potential quality risks.
  • Plan and execute software tests to verify that applications meet defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and communicate software defects clearly and accurately.
  • Perform verification and validation activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Create detailed documentation covering test procedures, scenarios, results, and identified issues.
  • Develop and implement automated test scripts for repetitive software testing activities.
  • Use test automation to improve testing efficiency, consistency, and coverage.
  • Execute manual testing across relevant software applications and functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
  • Support the delivery of reliable, high-quality software by identifying potential risks before release.
  • Participate in the analysis of defects and help determine appropriate solutions or corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Recommend improvements that can increase product quality, testing efficiency, and reliability.
  • Contribute to quality practices across web, mobile, API, integration, and other applicable testing environments.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience as a Software Test Analyst or in a comparable QA role.
  • Knowledge of programming logic, particularly as applied to software testing and test automation.
  • Ability to analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand business rules and translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
  • Experience with test planning and writing test scenarios based on user stories is preferred.
  • Experience with manual testing of web applications and mobile applications is preferred.
  • Experience with API testing and functional testing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is preferred.
  • Familiarity with web, mobile, API, integration, and continuous delivery testing practices is preferred.
  • Experience with test automation using Playwright is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Git and pull-request workflows is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with development, business analysis, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive approach to identifying quality risks and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Professional proficiency in English is considered a plus.
