Job role: Data Engineer - DBT Database.

DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for two Data Engineers with strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool) and database environments to join our team. The selected professionals will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data transformation and modeling solutions, as well as building robust ETL/ELT pipelines that support business and analytical needs.
The ideal candidates will have solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently while effectively managing priorities. Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is considered a valuable plus.
Tasks:
· Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
· Build and manage data transformation and modeling processes using dbt (Data Build Tool).
· Ensure the reliability, consistency, and quality of data across database environments.
· Optimize data workflows and transformation processes for performance and scalability.
· Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and pipeline failures.
· Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
· Support data integration activities and ongoing data platform operations.
· Contribute to the implementation of data engineering best practices and standards.
· Manage multiple priorities effectively while delivering solutions within agreed timelines.
· Work independently and proactively to identify and address data challenges.
Specific Expertise:
· Strong hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and data modeling.
· Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
· Strong knowledge of database environments and data engineering principles.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
· Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
· 5 to 7 years of experience in Data Engineering roles.
· Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
· Proactive attitude and ownership mindset.
· Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Flexibility to work from any location.
