About The Team
Dyson Group Marketing is responsible for bringing this amazing technology to life for our markets, explaining how our machines are different and their benefits.
Our mission is to bring Dyson technology to life, to provide the imagery, films, content, experiences and service that explain our machines, their benefits and the problems they solve for our Owners. We create assets and journeys that help Owners discover, choose, purchase, learn about and solve issues they may have with our machines.
We also plan the Project teams, resource them with the right talent, run the PMO, structure the governance, report and prioritise projects.
About The Role
The Senior Project Manager role works across all our demand and reports into our one of our BU Programme Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and ensuring delivery of projects across all our BUs. The successful candidate will ensure all projects within their remit follow our ways of working and governance, including meeting cadence, status reporting alongside issues and risk management. You will also work closely with the Finance team to track your project specific budget, ensure relevant POs are raised and released accordingly.
The role takes full Project Management ownership of specific projects. The successful candidate will be critical in ensuring that their specific projects run on time, on spec, on quality and on budget.
Day to Day
Your role will be hands-on. You’ll liaise with key business, across BUs, Markets and CoEs.
In the day to day your tasks will include:-
- Project Management of specific projects, including risk and issue management.
- Ensuring our BU teams follow our ways of working and governance, including meeting cadence and status reporting.
- Responsible for project specific budget, ensuring relevant POs are raised and released accordingly.
You will be a key member of the Planning and PMO team and will need to work cross functionally to achieve the best results. You will work with the following teams.
- BUs
- All Group Marketing teams, including Creative, Production and Digital
- Finance
- Market teams
- CRO Teams, including Media
About You
You and what you’ll need to succeed
- You will be a proven Mid-weight or Senior Project Manager with a background in digital & cross-channel project management or tech project management, or you will have demonstrable experience as an Account Manager with exceptional ability to manage multiple projects for a diverse range of clients
- Strong proven capability to prioritise, manage process and solve complex problems
- A positive and impactful communicator with excellent negotiation & influencing skills and the ability to ‘bring people with you’
- Comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical teams and engaging at all levels of the business. Simplify the complex and make the impact of enhancements visible in business terms
- Highly-organised with proven experience in project management with the ability to juggle multiple, complex projects at once
- Calm, considered approach and be able to cope with a very busy workload
- Ability to manage upwards in a timely and constructive manner.
