Junior Data Engineer

In your role as a Data Engineer Junior, you will support the development of data solutions that enable reliable data processing and analytics. Working closely with technical and business teams, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making and AI initiatives across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines.

• Assist in managing and optimizing databases and data solutions.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Monitor and improve data quality and data availability.

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of data-related issues.

• Contribute to the implementation of data governance and security standards.

• Assist in preparing and integrating data for analytics and AI applications.

• Participate in continuous improvement, digitalization, and AI initiatives.

Your Profile

• Higher Technical College (HTL) with IT focus, Bachelor's degree, or comparable qualification in a relevant field.

• First practical experience through internships, projects, or apprenticeships.

• Basic programming skills, ideally in Python, Java, or C#.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL/ELT processes.

• Strong interest in data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies.

• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving.

• Good English skills; German language skills are an advantage.
