About the Role
As a Senior Technical Project Manager at CodeRoad, you will serve as the strategic and operational backbone for our complex project delivery ecosystem. You will anchor end-to-end project orchestration, driving multi-stream delivery, cross-functional alignment, and high-level risk management across engineering PODs and business initiatives. Working closely with client leadership and executive stakeholders, you will institute framework standards, unblock critical dependencies, and ensure that large-scale technical efforts land on time and aligned with business strategy.
This role is critical to setting the benchmark for delivery excellence, mentoring mid-level PMs, and spearheading strategic initiatives that go beyond standard product development. We are looking for an assertive, highly confident problem solver with an exceptional ownership mindsetsomeone who brings the leadership presence to navigate high-stakes alignment and the execution drive to turn complex roadmaps into seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and anchor multi-stream project lifecycles, ensuring rigorous timeline adherence, scope governance, and high-quality deliverables across technical and operational domains.
- Lead strategic cross-functional alignment across client executives, engineering leads, and product teams to establish clear technical roadmaps and clear bottlenecks proactively.
- Optimize project management governance and workflow standards using advanced PM platforms, ensuring transparent metrics, reporting, and high team velocity.
- Design and execute robust risk mitigation and dependency-tracking frameworks across concurrent workstreams to eliminate delivery friction early.
- Mentor and support mid-level Project Managers (L2), elevating delivery practices, frameworks, and communication standards across the organization.
- Collaborate directly with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to align day-to-day operational execution with overarching company strategy.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Delivery Manager in nearshore software services, tech consulting, or complex enterprise environments.
- Tech Stack & Tooling: Deep expertise with modern project orchestration software (Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com) and workflow visualization frameworks.
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Extreme ownership mindset, unquestioned confidence, self-driven initiative, and a proven ability to lead through ambiguity as a sharp problem solver.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), technical dependencies, and cross-functional operational workstreams.
- Language: Advanced English (C1/C2 level, written and spoken) with exceptional executive communication skills.
Nice to Have
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent high-level project management/Agile certifications.
- Experience managing non-product operational, infrastructure, or strategic corporate workstreams alongside core software engineering PODs.
- Hands-on experience creating executive dashboards and metrics tracking using Notion, Airtable, or PowerBI.
- Background working directly in nearshore or offshore software delivery consulting models.
