Project Overview The New York Climate Exchange seeks a graphic designer to assist the Capital Project and Communications teams in designing a 30–40-page prospectus, or book, that will help external audiences understand and increase their engagement with the future of The Exchange.

Key Deliverables

The new, promotional book will bring The Exchange's narrative to life visually—connecting our vision and the climate campus planned for Governors Island in a way that is consistent with our brand. This includes:

  • Identifying, coordinating, and reviewing visual assets (photography, renderings, maps, illustrations) that support The Exchange's narrative
  • Designing layouts that strengthen and clarify The Exchange's narrative
  • Working with the Communications Director and editorial strategist to select and integrate visuals that illustrate The Exchange's narrative

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (and broader Creative Suite)

Schedule of Deliverables

Weeks 1-2: Initial layout/design concept Weeks 3–4: Apply edits and complete full design Weeks 5–6: Final design edit and print-ready optimization

Contract duration 6-8 weeks

Location: Remote, must be available to join occasional weekday meetings in ET time zone.
