We are currently searching for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE):
The Challenge (Responsibilities)
- Design and implement an effective and efficient CI/CD flow that gets code from dev to prod with high quality and minimal manual effort.
- Apply a systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
- Drive the adoption of development services (Performance Engineering, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Collaboration) amongst various delivery teams.
- Debug and optimize code, and automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
- Manage relationships and deal with difficult situations involving many different stakeholders, making decisions with a sense of urgency.
- Work across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs, build relationships, and push the boundaries of what can be done with automation.
- Design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
Your Profile (Requirements)
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven engineering experience with industry-standard CI/CD tools like Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Groovy, and Chef.
- Sound knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in cloud-based architecture (preferably in Azure and PCF).
- Demonstrated experience with Java, J2EE, WebServices (SOAP/REST), Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate skills.
- Solid understanding and experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
- Experience working in an Agile Development Environment.
- High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
- Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
Desired
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Docker, and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
- Advanced Spanish.
