This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a IT Business Analyst - Oracle Fusion SC Planning based in India.

The role focuses on bridging business needs and technology solutions within a global supply chain environment.You will play a key part in optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM planning capabilities and improving operational efficiency.Working closely with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and IT stakeholders, you will translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.The position offers the opportunity to lead functional enhancements, support digital transformation initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.You will contribute to major implementation, configuration, testing, and optimization activities across enterprise systems.This is a high-impact opportunity for a technology-focused professional with strong Oracle SCM expertise and a passion for business process excellence.

Accountabilities: The role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning solutions while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning processes, deliver system enhancements, and support successful deployments.

  • Lead functional support and optimization of Oracle Fusion SCM planning modules, including Demand Management, S&OP Planning, Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning, and Production Scheduling.
  • Build strong relationships with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and business leadership teams to understand operational challenges and identify technology-driven improvements.
  • Conduct business process analysis, gap assessments, and solution design activities to align legacy processes with Oracle Fusion standard capabilities.
  • Configure and document Oracle Fusion SCM solutions, including BR100 configurations and MD050 functional design documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvements, and enhanced system capabilities within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
  • Evaluate and implement new Oracle quarterly updates to leverage additional SCM planning functionalities.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test scenarios, validate solutions, and support deployment activities.
  • Manage data migration and cleansing activities using Oracle FBDI processes.
  • Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations to improve business efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies and best practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have strong experience combining business analysis, supply chain processes, and Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM expertise. You should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical solutions, and managing enterprise application improvements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM implementations, migrations, or support within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM planning modules and supply chain planning processes.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into Oracle standard solutions and system configurations.
  • Experience conducting requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools such as OTBI and BI Publisher is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Oracle EPM custom applications and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) touchpoints is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies is advantageous.
  • Oracle Cloud SCM Certified Implementation Specialist certification is highly preferred.
  • APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or CBAP certification is considered an advantage.
