This Product Manager role sits within Visa Direct’s Currencycloud product, focused on building the infrastructure that powers how money moves globally. You’ll help businesses send, receive and manage funds across borders quickly, cheaply, and with full transparency and control. Money movement sits at the heart of how businesses and consumers operate, so the work you do here has real, measurable impact.

You’ll own a product area end to end, working with a dedicated engineering team and cross-functional partners to decide what matters most and how to move it forward. You’ll shape the vision and roadmap for your area based on client needs, business goals, market context and what you learn through discovery.

You’ll spend time understanding how clients use our products, where the experience breaks down, and where we can create something better. From there, you’ll define and launch features, stay close to how they perform in the real world, and use data, feedback and judgement to decide what to do next.

We’re looking for people with high agency, who take initiative, create clarity and don’t wait for perfect direction. You’ll have space to own problems end to end, influence beyond your immediate team, and deliver meaningful outcomes with your team. This role reports into a Product Director or Group Product Manager.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Vision:

  • Collaborate in crafting your tribe’s strategy by doing deep market, customer, competitor and technology research.
  • Develop a product strategy and roadmap for your team based on company strategy, tribe strategy, deep market, customer, competitor and technology research.
  • Build alignment and secure buy-in for the product strategy from colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Turn strategy into a clear, prioritized backlog and roadmap for your team.

 Discovery:

  • Lead discovery with clients to uncover real problems, unmet needs and new opportunities
  • Work with customers and colleagues to generate, test and refine ideas for new features and products.
  • Go deep on payment flows, bank and operational processes, and systems maps to understand how things work end to end.
  • Work with internal & external teams to develop and maintain clear technical documentation
  • Ensure requirements are detailed enough to take into sprint, including functional & non-functional requirements
  • Use what you learn from customers and data to separate signal from noise, challenge assumptions, and focus the team on the highest-impact problems.

 Delivery:

  • Manage end-to-end product development, from shaping the problem through to building and launching it for our clients.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on customer, commercial, and strategic value, potentially across more than one scrum team
  • Partner closely with engineering and delivery counterparts to keep the team focused, effective and moving at pace.
  • Give clear context on what is being prioritized and why, so the team can make good decisions quickly

 Adoption:

  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing and GTM teams to define the go-to-market plans, positioning and launches.
  • Drive product adoption across various regions, segments, and use cases, not just releasing features.
  • Measure product performance and impact after launch and use data and insight to decide what to improve, scale or stop.

What Success Looks Like

  • A clear strategy, roadmap and backlog that connect customer problems to business outcomes.
  • Features and improvements shipped at pace that solve real problems and create measurable value.
  • Strong product judgement, shown through good prioritization, clear trade-offs and thoughtful use of data.
  • Owning a product area that is gaining adoption, performing well and improving over time
