Full description

Position Summary:

The Analyst Revenue Forecasting and Data Analytics reports revenue to internal JetBlue leadership and answers complex revenue questions with data. The Analyst will provide support of revenue reporting and forecasting. In addition, the Analyst will present analysis and ad hoc reporting.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily revenue and booking trends
  • Maintains and develops dashboards for use within our team and other teams. Solicits feedback from dashboard users and incorporates it as needed
  • Has an understanding our data structure and is able to answer ad hoc questions with manager guidance
  • Supports reporting for other teams at JetBlue and works to improve them based on user feedback
  • Able to assist with data improvement projects working with other teams
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and makes recommendations in support of revenue initiatives
  • Provide direct support to manager requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in forecasting or data analysis
  • Some SQL coding language knowledge
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and ask relevant questions to ensure comprehension
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with analyzing data
  • Ability to learn new computer programs and applications
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience within airline industry
  • Experience in array of analysis tools (i.e. Excel, SQL, R, Python)
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Five (5) years of modeling, forecasting, and analysis experience
  • Full understanding of Tableau software

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:

  • The base pay range for this position is between $67,000.00 and $101,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
