Accountabilities: As a Project Implementation Manager III, you will oversee assigned client implementations from initial handoff through successful deployment and transition to ongoing support. You will act as the central point of coordination between clients and internal teams while maintaining control of project scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality, and deliverables.

  • Lead client implementations through kickoff, requirements confirmation, planning, configuration, validation, training, go-live, closeout, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, establish expectations, provide status updates, document meetings, and maintain a professional, solutions-oriented client experience.
  • Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Coordinate implementation engineers, configuration and validation specialists, Account Management, Business Development, Technical Support, Accounting, and other stakeholders.
  • Gather and maintain client requirements, support scoping and estimation, and ensure appropriate internal review and client approval before work begins.
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and overall project health, escalating risks early with practical corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure project activities remain aligned with signed Statements of Work, client commitments, internal procedures, and applicable Service Level Agreements.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, approval, and delivery of implementation and validation documentation, including plans, specifications, test results, and summary reports.
  • Facilitate configuration freezes, change control, production setup, release readiness, and project closeout activities.
  • Review project time records and applicable invoices, communicate budget status, and support change-order or work-stoppage decisions when required.
  • Conduct system administration training and product demonstrations and contribute to training materials and instructional videos.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of software products, implementation methodologies, and regulated life sciences environments.
  • Coordinate upgrades, respond to client questions, and manage the transition from implementation to post-go-live support and Account Management.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent information across project, customer, and support platforms such as ACE, Wrike, JIRA, and Freshdesk.
  • Advocate for client needs while balancing contractual scope, quality standards, delivery constraints, and business requirements.
  • Travel to client sites as needed and perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines solid project management experience with strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to coordinate complex SaaS implementations. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, working across functions without direct supervisory authority, and learning sophisticated software products quickly.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SaaS implementation, client services, customer support, project management, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent client projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience leading client meetings and delivering training or presentations.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to coordinate and delegate work across cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.
  • Ability to quickly learn complex software and explain system functionality to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues across multiple time zones and consistently follow the schedule assigned to the selected opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS solutions within the life sciences sector.
  • Experience working in regulated GxP environments and with software implementation or validation deliverables.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software configuration, requirements management, validation, change control, and release or upgrade processes.
  • Experience using project management, ticketing, and collaboration platforms such as Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, or similar tools.

Benefits:

  • Full-time W2 temporary contract lasting 12–18 months, with potential for an FTE extension.
  • Fully remote position for candidates based on the East Coast of the United States.
  • Medical benefits for eligible W2 temporary employees.
  • Sick time benefits.
  • Hourly compensation range of $35–$40 USD, with final pay determined based on qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
