Alliance & New Product Planning Manager 는 비아트리스 코리아의 지속적인 성장과 포트폴리오 강화를 위해 신규 사업 및 제품 기회를 발굴하고, 라이선싱 및 전략적 파트너십의 검토부터 계약 체결, 사업화까지의 전 과정을 주도합니다. 또한 주요 Alliance 파트너와의 협업 및 성과 관리를 통해 사업 가치를 극대화하고, Regional/Global 조직 및 유관 부서와 긴밀이 협업하여 회사의 성장 전략과 주요 사업 과제를 성공적으로 이끌어가는 역할이 기대됩니다.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

[Business Development & New Product Development]

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to explore organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including in-licensing, out-licensing, and co-development with local partners
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution: opportunity screening, partner due diligence, deal structuring, and contract negotiation (royalty/supply price structures, minimum purchase commitments, supply obligations, termination clauses)
  • Responsible for strategic planning, business case development (P&L projection, financial forecast), and resource planning for new initiatives
  • Drive life-cycle management and portfolio expansion initiatives leveraging the company's core therapeutic franchises
  • Develop and implement GTM strategy in line with global and local strategic direction, including pricing and reimbursement assumptions for pipeline assets
  • Establish operating plans for marketed brands and drive launch excellence for pipeline brands, from deal signing through commercial launch
  • Work in close collaboration with regional commercial development, finance, legal, regulatory, and supply chain teams

 

[Alliance Partnering & Management]

  • Manage a multi-partner alliance portfolio across therapeutic areas, covering co-promotion, licensing, and promotion/distribution partnerships
  • Lead alliance partners to develop and implement marketing plans and promotions in line with company objectives, including regular joint committee meetings
  • Ensure alliance partners' KPIs, budget, demand planning, and forecast management
  • Lead commercial negotiations with partners, including supply price renegotiation and margin optimization
  • Manage partner transitions and contract restructuring (termination, novation, handover planning) with appropriate structural safeguards
  • Resolve contractual disputes with partners in a firm but constructive manner, protecting the company's contractual position
  • Build strong business relationships with appropriate internal functions and alliance partners to deliver the business goal

 

[Executive Communication & Reporting]

  • Prepare executive-level reporting and business review materials for regional and global leadership in English (business cases, deal updates, risk escalations)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between local alliance matters and global stakeholders, translating complex local issues into clear, decision-ready communications

 

Skills, Knowledges, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor degree or above (business, life sciences, or pharmacy preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Marketing or BD relevant functions in the pharmaceutical industry; hands-on contract negotiation or alliance management experience preferred
  • Solid financial acumen: P&L modeling, forecasting, and margin analysis
  • Understanding of the Korean pharmaceutical environment, including drug pricing and reimbursement systems and partner ecosystem
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across internal functions and external partners
  • Mid to high level of MS Office skills
