Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the Operations team on tender document review, developing/ reviewing the scope of work and specifications for M&E equipment replacement such as switchgear, genset, etc based on the latest code of practice and authorities’ requirements.
- Review and provide technical support for M&E maintenance contract scopes and requirements for cost saving/ containment and effectiveness to prolong equipment lifecycle based on based on the latest code of practice and authorities’ requirements.
- Assist with project handover and pre-opening programs, including on-site inspections, site acceptance tests, and defect rectifications to ensure the equipment is operating at the right specifications.
- Offer technical support to the Operations team in addressing M&E operational challenges.
- Provide technical guidance on M&E end-of-life replacement schedules and specifications.
- Offer technical guidance, recommendations, and tracking of electrical loads, contracted capacity and maximum demand.
- Manage and execute assigned projects and improvement initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of required operations, maintenance, and project activities.
- Conduct audits and identify energy/ water saving opportunities, track and monitor chiller plant performance and provide timely advice to the Operations team to address any shortcomings.
- Oversee digital solutioning and platform management to drive improvements in operational productivity and efficiency.
- Undertake any other new tasks assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or any professional certification in Electrical or Mechanical or related discipline
- Preference will be given to those with minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
- Familiar and good knowledge on M&E services and maintenance requirements
- Preference will be given to those with minimum Grade 7 Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) or good knowledge in Low/High voltage electrical and Scada system
- Experience in Energy Management and Audit or digital solutioning will be an added advantage
- Good command in English, spoken and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Ability to multi-task, analytical and meticulous and high level of initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
