This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Network Engineer based in India.
This role offers an opportunity to support and strengthen enterprise network infrastructure in a highly global and technology-driven environment. You will work across Cisco enterprise routing and switching and data center platforms, contributing to reliable and scalable network operations. The position also provides exposure to modern network automation and programmability using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs. You will play an important role in large-scale infrastructure migrations, including projects within complex enterprise and financial services environments. Working across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions, you will collaborate with distributed teams and technology partners. The role combines hands-on engineering with opportunities to contribute to critical migration and transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across Cisco Enterprise Routing & Switching and Cisco Nexus Data Center platforms.
- Support large-scale enterprise infrastructure migrations, ensuring network changes are delivered efficiently, securely, and with minimal business disruption.
- Contribute to network automation and programmability initiatives using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs.
- Execute planned network changes, migrations, and maintenance activities in coordination with internal teams, vendors, and other technical stakeholders.
- Provide network engineering support across AMER, EMEA, and APAC business hours to ensure effective global operational coverage.
- Participate in scheduled weekend migration windows, including 12-hour shifts where required, as part of a vendor-managed rotation and compensatory-off arrangement.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes, and implement effective and sustainable technical solutions.
- Follow established enterprise security, data privacy, change management, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to ensure successful delivery of network projects and ongoing infrastructure operations.
- Maintain a high standard of technical documentation, operational procedures, and network configuration practices.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, with strong expertise in Cisco Enterprise Routing & Switching and Cisco Nexus Data Center platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of network automation and programmability, particularly Python, Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs.
- Previous experience delivering large-scale enterprise infrastructure migrations, ideally within complex or financial services environments.
- Practical understanding of enterprise network architecture, routing, switching, data center networking, and network operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and work methodically under time-sensitive migration and operational conditions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to support multi-region operations covering AMER, EMEA, and APAC business hours.
- Flexibility to participate in scheduled 12-hour weekend migration windows as required, with applicable shift rotations and compensatory time off.
- CCNP certification is preferred.
- Ability to meet pre-onboarding background verification requirements and comply with global enterprise security and data privacy standards.
