Full description

This is an evolving and developing role so responsibilities may change over time. Flexibility to support the changing business will be important.

Reporting to and working closely with the Business Insights Team Lead within the Data & Analytics (D&A) Business Insights Team, this role plays a key part in delivering actionable insights that support decision-making at all levels of the organisation. The team leverages advanced analytics and data science approaches to enable both short- and long-term strategic outcomes.

As a Senior Business Insights Analyst, you will lead the design, delivery and ownership of complex analytics use cases or semantic layers, acting as a senior technical authority within the Business Insights team. You will partner with stakeholders to shape problem definitions, guide solution design, and ensure analytics outputs drive measurable business outcomes.

A critical aspect of the role is continuously improving analytics processes and standards, promoting and enabling the use of a standardised analytics toolkit across the organisation. You will champion best practices, foster consistency through forums and communities of practice, and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and optimisation of tools, processes and ways of working to meet evolving business needs.

In addition, you will play a key role in bridging analytics and data science, applying a working understanding of advanced analytical and modelling techniques to interpret, challenge, and enhance solutions delivered across the wider Data & Analytics function.
