This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor de Sistemas Fullstack | Java e React | Crédito 3 | CSC based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve critical software solutions within a collaborative technology environment. You will work across the full development lifecycle, combining strong backend expertise in Java and Spring with modern frontend development using React. The position involves designing APIs, integrating cloud and third-party services, improving system reliability, and contributing to technical decisions. You will also help strengthen engineering quality through code reviews, automation, DevOps practices, observability, and continuous improvement. Working within an agile squad, you will collaborate with other technology professionals to deliver stable, scalable, and business-relevant solutions. Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and evolve system functionalities across backend and frontend applications, with a focus on Java and React.
- Participate in the definition, evaluation, and review of technical solutions, contributing to architectural and implementation decisions.
- Design and develop REST APIs and integrations with internal, governmental, and third-party services.
- Perform code reviews, promote programming best practices, and share technical knowledge with the development team.
- Ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and stability of software deliveries through testing, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Prepare, coordinate, and monitor system deployments, supporting smooth releases and production stability.
- Monitor application health through observability platforms, analyzing metrics, logs, and traces to identify failures, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Git-based workflows, static code analysis, source control management, and NoOps approaches.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and collaborate with the squad using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe.
- Support containerized applications and cloud-based architectures, including environments based on Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to messaging and distributed integration solutions using technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
- Mentor and encourage a strong culture of software quality, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate technical topics clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another technology-related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer, with solid experience delivering production systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, particularly versions 11, 17, and/or 21, as well as Spring Framework.
- Experience with Java EE technologies and legacy frameworks such as Struts and JSF.
- Strong knowledge of REST architecture and experience designing and developing APIs.
- Professional experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and/or Oracle 12c+.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, especially Microsoft Azure; exposure to AWS, GCP, and/or IBM Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with messaging technologies, preferably Azure Service Bus; RabbitMQ and Kafka experience is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, Git, static code analysis with tools such as Sonar, source control management, and CI/CD.
- Experience integrating with governmental and third-party services through APIs, web scraping, and/or data extraction services.
- Familiarity with agile development environments using Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, system quality, reliability, and automation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and technical problem-solving.
- Experience with financial systems, Java with Struts, Hibernate, JasperReports/JasperStudio, Jira, Confluence, cloud-native or microservices architecture, and UML modeling is a plus.
