Your Role

  • Responsibility for the strategic and operational development of Systems Engineering in the DUV environment.
  • Establishment of standards, roles, and interfaces for architecture, requirements management, roadmaps, and decision processes.
  • Technical and disciplinary development of Systems Engineering roles.
  • Harmonization of activities across products, programs, and product lines
  • Ensuring consistent roadmaps, system architectures, requirements, and interfaces in alignment with programs, product management, and development.
  • Management of program-agnostic initiatives (task forces, focus teams, pre-feasibility).
  • Transparency on backlogs, reports, risks, and dependencies; well-founded positions toward stakeholders.
  • Continuing development of the Systems Engineering community and the Product & Solution Generation Process.

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree (ideally PhD) in engineering or natural sciences.
  • Many years of experience in systems engineering, product development, or technical program management of complex high-tech systems.
  • Proven technical and/or disciplinary leadership responsibility as well as team/role development.
  • Proficient in systems engineering methods, requirements management, system architecture, roadmaps, and program management.
  • Ability to structure and present complex technical, economic, and organizational contexts in a decision-ready way.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, assertiveness, and confident presence at all levels (including internationally). Entrepreneurial mindset: solution-oriented, with a view to portfolio, scalability, risks, and feasibility.
