About the job:

Android, Business, and Communications (ABC) is at the core of how people and businesses connect across the globe. Our mission is to build the world’s most helpful, expressive, and secure communication experiences. With nearly 2 billion active users on Google Messages and nearly 1 billion using the Phone app (Dialer), we ship products that make a meaningful difference in lives worldwide.

As a Data Scientist on the Android and Business Communication (ABC) team, you will shape the future of voice communication and connectivity for the Android ecosystem. You will play a critical role in executing our strategy to "Elevate The Call" through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and causal inference. Working closely with cross-functional partners across Engineering, Product, and UX, you will drive the 0-to-1 measurement and optimization of proactive AI features like Call For Me, enhance user protection via advanced Scam Detection, and accelerate peer-to-peer network effects.

Your data-driven insights will directly influence the product roadmap—starting with Pixel devices as our innovation spearhead, and scaling to premium Android partners (e.g., Samsung via CallCore) and emerging form factors like XR and Wear OS. If you are passionate about using data to build secure, helpful, and AI communication experiences at a global scale, this role is for you.
