Java Full Stack Developer – React, Kafka

CTG is seeking to fill a Java Full Stack Developer – React, Kafka position for our client.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using Java/JEE and modern web technologies.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services, Java Web Services, APIs, and enterprise application components.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using ReactJS.
• Develop and support Talon and Talon Batch applications and integrations.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka for messaging and data integration.
• Apply Java development frameworks and programming practices, including dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, and functional programming.
• Implement data access, transaction management, and batch processing solutions.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems and external services.
• Participate in test-driven development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Follow DevOps methodologies and contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and application support activities.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Experience:

• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java and web technologies.
• Experience developing Java Web Services and integrating enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS for front-end development.
• Experience with Java Talon and Talon Batch.
• Experience implementing Kafka-based messaging and event-driven integrations.
• Experience with Java frameworks, data access, transaction management, and batch processing.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and production support.
• Experience working with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated deployment processes is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote development environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $83,000 to $106,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
