Description
The Product Group Manager Business Origination for the Join & Activate Journey is responsible for defining and executing the strategy, roadmap, and performance outcomes for the end-to-end digital business customer acquisition and onboarding experience. This leader owns the customer journey from exploration and application through account opening, funding, activation, digital engagement, and relationship primacy. The role serves as the single point of accountability for creating a seamless, scalable, and digitally enabled business customer experience that reduces friction, accelerates time-to-fund, increases activation and adoption, and drives long-term relationship growth. This position partners across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Fraud, Compliance, Digital, Data & Analytics, Marketing, and Business Banking leadership to deliver measurable customer and business outcome.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product management ownership of Digital initiatives designed to help customers connect with Huntington bankers and specialists for financial and product consultation and guidance.
- Leads research to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and documents customer journeys that establish prioritized investments that create incremental value for our customers.
- Develops business cases to quantify incremental value and ROI.
- Identifies and sets priorities for product development/modifications, pricing, and product positioning.
- Partners with marketing and communications teams to promote products and services to customers and to support Huntington team members.
- Partners with data and analytics teams to develop metrics for performance measurement and ongoing optimization and monitoring.
- Maintains contact with clients and nurtures relationships with sales professionals, marketing areas, product managers, agile team members, and other bank personnel.
- Manages product group profitability and quality standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly
- Experience in product planning and management, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent skills with Excel and PowerPoint
- Candid and concise communication skills
- Must be savvy and passionate about driving results and innovation
- Managing entire digital product lifecycle
- Managing customer research to uncover customer needs
- Creating hypotheses for solutions and managing development of product designs from prototyping through final delivery
- Creating financial business cases that evidence ROI
- Managing performance metrics, analyzing results, and driving optimization
- Presenting to executive management

Compensation Range:
$93,000.00 - $189,000.00 USD Annual The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
