Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Data and Analytics team. The incumbent will translate business needs into clear analytics products and measurable outcomes — defining minimum viable product scope, detailed requirements, measures of success and user acceptance criteria. They will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, you will ensure analytics solutions directly support real business decisions.
- Lead intake of demand and define business problems, objectives and measures of success.
- Facilitate workshops to identify users, key performance indicators and success measures.
- Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain the product backlog and define what constitutes a minimum viable product versus future enhancements.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and confirm business acceptance.
- Capture stakeholder feedback and convert learnings into future iterations.
- Work closely with product owners, engineers and stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with business value.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in business analysis, analytics delivery, consulting, process improvement or product ownership.
- Strong experience in requirements analysis and translating business needs into user stories.
- Ability to design key performance indicators and focus on measurable benefits.
- Product ownership mindset with experience of iterative delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder facilitation and workshop design skills.
- Experience in process mapping and producing clear documentation.
- Data literacy and experience supporting analytics delivery.
- Experience coordinating user acceptance testing and managing acceptance criteria.
- Awareness of Databricks Lakehouse or similar modern data platforms is beneficial but not required.
