Senior Full-stack Engineer (React OR Vue/Python) - Investment

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer (React OR Vue/Python) - Investment based in Brazil.

This is a senior-level opportunity to build and evolve technology supporting a modern investment-focused business. You’ll work across the full stack, contributing to scalable backend services and modern frontend applications. The role combines hands-on software engineering with exposure to cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment practices. You’ll join a lean, dynamic environment where technical ownership, autonomy, and proactive problem-solving are highly valued. Your work will directly contribute to reliable, secure, and high-quality digital products in the investment space. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals while also helping shape architecture, development practices, and technical decisions. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services using Python and Django or similar frameworks.

• Build and enhance modern frontend applications using React or Vue.js, with experience in tools such as Vite.

• Contribute across the complete software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through deployment and maintenance.

• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform and CDK for Terraform (CDKTF).

• Use Docker and Docker Compose to support consistent local development and deployment environments.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production deployments using technologies such as Uvicorn, Nginx, and container orchestration tools.

• Implement secure secrets-management practices and support reliable application configuration.

• Investigate, debug, and resolve full-stack issues using modern development tools and remote debugging workflows.

• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making, helping ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, and secure.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative culture of technical excellence.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React or Vue.js.

• Solid knowledge of Python, with hands-on experience using Django or comparable frameworks.

• Experience developing and maintaining full-stack applications in production environments.

• Practical experience with Docker and containerized development.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and/or CDK for Terraform.

• Comfortable working in Unix/macOS environments and using tools such as Homebrew, nvm, and pyenv.

• Experience with web server configuration and application serving technologies such as Nginx and Uvicorn.

• Understanding of secure software development practices and secrets management.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities, including experience with remote development workflows.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of technical challenges.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.

• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to architectural or technical decisions is highly valued.
