The Data Science team is responsible for developing analytical methodologies, exploring new data sources, and creating scalable solutions that help clients and internal stakeholders solve business challenges. By working closely with Analytics, Product, Technology, and Commercial teams, Data Science plays a key role in turning complex data into meaningful insights.

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to build your technical and analytical skills while contributing to real business projects. Working alongside experienced Data Scientists and business leaders, you will support the development of data-driven solutions, gain exposure to modern analytics tools, and collaborate with global teams. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about data, technology, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external stakeholders in understanding Data Science methodologies and analytical approaches.
  • Assist in the development of use cases, proof of concepts (PoCs), and prototypes using diverse datasets.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Apply statistical techniques and analytical methods to support ongoing projects.
  • Develop scripts and analytical solutions using Python and/or R under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Contribute to process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Product, and Technology, to support project execution.
  • Prepare and communicate analytical findings through reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies, tools, and best practices in Data Science.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience through coursework, internships, projects, or professional work using Python and/or R.
  • Professional experience, internships, academic research, or project work related to Data Science, Analytics, or Market Research.
  • Verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with databases and data querying concepts.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in innovation and technology.
