Job Description Summary

Note: This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 3 per week in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.

This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Job Description

Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating models for decisions and cost allocations for specific business units within the Information Technology (IT) organization. Assists with P&L and project budget development for the IT organization.  Applies specialized domain knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data.  Makes judgements and recommendations based on analysis and knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate and lead in the design, development, and implementation of the Technology Business Management (TBM) Model, Architecture and Data across Cost Pools, Towers, Services and Bills of IT.
  • Develop reports for key stakeholders that are simple, yet powerful allowing end users to drill down into data and gather insights into their IT related costs.
  • Design and document processes and procedures for use by the TBM Team, users and administrators.
  • Prepares periodic financial information and presentations for senior management and select external resources to include month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities.
  • Participates in the annual budget process by compiling cost information for business units to use in preparing budgets.
  • Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts to ensure proper classification and integrity of information.
  • Performs special projects to improve process efficiency and performance. 
  • Support the team in day-to-day operational activities, support, enhancements.
  • May occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree and one to three (1-3) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience is preferred.

Knowledge of the following preferred:

  • Advanced accounting concepts, practices and procedures.  
  • Cost Allocation  
  • Accounting software packages.   
  • Experience with Technology Business Management tools, such as Apptio.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite is a strong plus.
