PHP Developer

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced AES‑DE‑FED‑Angular professional to join our dynamic team. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance single‑page applications and backend services, leveraging Angular, PHP frameworks, Oracle, and Azure DevOps in an Agile environment. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cloud‑ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to gather requirements and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Design and implement Angular SPA components with reusable code and state management.
• Develop server‑side modules using PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony) and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Optimize Oracle and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including build, test, and release automation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and apply fixes promptly.
• Create and update technical documentation, design specs, and deployment guides.
• Support cloud deployments on Azure (and optionally AWS)
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience with PHP and modern front‑end technologies.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony) and REST/Microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL optimization, and relational database design.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux/Unix environments, and container‑based deployments.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and active participation in sprint cycles.
• Ability to write unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, or PHPUnit and ensure code quality.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior team members or leading small technical groups is a plus.
