Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence? Amazon's India Air transportation team is seeking a Business Analyst to lead the Analytics and Automation charter for air programs In this high-impact role, you'll be the central figure in creating automated solutions that optimize billing operations, network monitoring, and reporting capabilities across our air transportation ecosystem.
You'll work at the intersection of analytics, automation, and program management, leveraging BI and AI tools and automation platforms to replace manual processes with scalable solutions. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up—establishing systems that will shape how our team operates for years to come.
Key job responsibilities 1. Lead the Analytics and Automation charter for the IN Air team, serving as the primary owner for all data-related activities including weekly and monthly billing data generation, WBR reporting, invoicing monitoring, and capacity deployment/monitoring. 2. Design and build automated dashboards and reporting solutions that transform manual processes into efficient, scalable systems using AI and automation tools like Quicksight. 3. Drive timely and accurate billing report creation and updates, ensuring stakeholders have the insights needed for decision-making and financial management 4. Deploy and verify capacity for the air network, analyzing performance data to identify optimization opportunities and resolve operational issues 5. Collaborate with transportation teams, finance, vendor management, and regional stakeholders to ensure data flows support program objectives and drive continuous improvement in network operations
Basic Qualifications: - 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience - 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL - Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level - Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar
Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of data analytics or automation experience
