Senior Software Engineer (React)
(Hybrid/Kraków – 1 day per week in the office)

As a Senior Software Engineer within our frontend domain, you will play a key role in designing, building and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that support our business objectives. Working as part of a cross-functional Agile squad, you will solve complex technical challenges and contribute to engineering excellence through modern development practices.
You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Engineering Squad Leads, Principal Engineers and Architects to deliver robust, maintainable solutions while sharing your knowledge, mentoring less experienced engineers and contributing to a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality, scalable and maintainable frontend solutions that support business objectives.
- Take ownership of complex technical tasks, ensuring solutions are performant, reliable and aligned with engineering standards.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, Product Managers, Designers and other stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and support the evolution of frontend architecture and engineering practices.
- Champion high standards of code quality through testing, code reviews and adherence to development best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tooling and application performance, driving continuous improvement within the squad.
- Share knowledge, support and mentor less experienced engineers, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Build effective relationships across engineering and the wider business, communicating technical decisions and progress clearly.
What you'll bring
- Strong commercial experience developing high-quality, scalable frontend applications using modern engineering practices.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML and CSS, with hands-on experience building applications using React.js and Remix.
- Good understanding of web technologies, frontend architecture and application performance optimisation.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and JSON-based services.
- Solid knowledge of frontend testing practices and tools, including Playwright and Jest.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems and modern development workflows.
- Good understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design and user experience best practices.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, clean code practices and non-functional requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of technical solutions while supporting and mentoring other engineers.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
