We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a passion for building secure, reliable, and cloud-ready applications that support business-critical operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices while collaborating closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle. You will contribute to system architecture, participate in technical discussions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code following Agile development practices. This position offers an opportunity to work on modern application architectures, cloud technologies, and enterprise-scale software solutions in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

  • Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices that support enterprise applications and third-party integrations.
  • Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code while following software engineering best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in system design discussions, technical reviews, and architecture planning sessions.
  • Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and external services while ensuring security and performance.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and support automated testing to improve application quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to improve system stability.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and resource utilization through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native application development practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for application components, APIs, and deployment processes.
  • Stay current with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to continuously enhance development capabilities.

What Makes You a Great Fit• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and enterprise application development.
  • Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and cloud-native application development is an added advantage.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Gradle, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is desirable.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems, distributed architectures, and asynchronous processing is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering reliable software solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
