QA Tester (Slots)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in the development of slot games and gaming machines.

In this role, you will focus on manual testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and quality of our gaming software and hardware. You will play a vital role in identifying and addressing issues to deliver a seamless gaming experience to our users.

What you’ll do

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of slot games and gaming machines to verify functionality, stability, reliability, and compliance with functional and technical requirements.

• Identify, reproduce, analyze, document, and track software and hardware-related defects, providing detailed reproduction steps, supporting evidence.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on game requirements and specifications.

• Collaborate closely with developers, and other stakeholders to understand product goals and test requirements.

• Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure previously identified issues have been resolved.

• Validate the integration and communication between game software, hardware components, peripheral devices, and external gaming systems.

• Review and ensure the quality of the documentation.

• Conducting formal test plans involving functional, integration, regression, and non-regression testing.

• Analyze software requirements and technical specifications to identify potential issues and gaps before testing begins.

• Assess the severity and impact of identified defects and report potential product quality and release risks to the QA Team Lead.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and test documentation to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related.

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in the gaming industry, preferably with slot games or gaming machines.

• Proven work experience in tools like Jira and Xray.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with manual testing processes, including exploratory testing.

• Familiarity with hardware testing or machine integration testing is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to document test results, bugs, and processes in a clear and concise manner.
